While painting my new garden series of paintings, I was yet again asked to donate work for a cause, "Great Exposure." As artists, we get asked for free work all the time. While many causes are genuinely valid, we can only do so much. This year, I decided to donate to a cause I choose and in doing so, I will donate $25 for each mini garden sold. Green Angels Financial Assistance programme at the Royal Botanical Gardens. 

This programme subsidizes trips and passes so that disadvantaged, special needs and new Canadian children can visit a special place that is the natural world.

This image is a little closer to home. On the road with the Escarpment running low just down the hill. You know if you stop, the view will be great.

This image is on the road north in Ontario. It really could be any of our highways. 

You know there is another great view just around the winding bend.

This image is from a place I have been lucky enough to go and paint for many summers with my other artist pals.

This is almost at the end of the road in Willisville Ontario approaching Charlton Lake Camp.
We usually spend a day here painting the surroundings.

This week it is only beyond freezing cold - completely deceiving since the sun is out and it looks lovely. I will stay in though and just wish it was warmer.

This is somewhere in Georgia, coming up to the Great Smoky Mountains.

That was the comment from last week - still stands today - freezing rain misty snowy stuff happening....
